Midwest Implant Institute Privacy Statement

Midwest Implant Institute is highly sensitive to the privacy interests of consumers and believes that the protection of those interests is one of its most significant responsibilities. In acknowledgment of its obligations, Midwest Implant Institute has adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers that it acquires in the course of its business:

  1. Acquisition of Information. We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely.
  2. Our Employees and Privacy. We train all of our employees about the importance of privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs.
  3. Security Measures. We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service.
  4. Disclosure to Third Parties. We will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services.
  5. Privacy and Our Business Partners. When we make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Refund policy for Course Fees

If you must cancel your course registration, please notify the Midwest Implant Institute immediately. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start of a course are subject to an administration fee of 25% of the course fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before commencement of a course will receive no refund.

Where patients were to be brought for hands-on surgery, a cancellation fee of 25% applies to the surgery fees.

For the extern program, once commenced, no refunds are payable to the participants.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for refunds.

"No shows" will not qualify for a refund.

At MII's sole discretion it may on occasions, subject to the circumstances and availability, agree to apply the full fees paid to a future course in the same program. In the event of a fee increase for the same course, the retained fee will be applied and no additional payment for the difference in fee will be applied. If the fee is applied to a different course of higher value, any additional cost will be payable by the participant.

These fees cannot be reapplied between different programs being organized by the MII Fellows, and MII, or between the Symposium and other courses.

In the event of cancellation or postponement of an event, MII will at it's discretion, either refund the cost of the course or carry the fee forward to another course at the delegate.s request. MII accepts no liability or responsibility for additional or incidental costs for participants in the event of cancellation and advises all participants to ensure travel insurance is taken for all travel cost liabilities.

Separate, different cancellation criteria apply to the annual MIIFellow's Symposium and are published on the Symposium brochures and payment information.

For clarification, MII courses 301, 302, 303, 305, 601, 602, 613, 551, 552 ACLS, and BLS constitute one program.

MIIFellows outreach events constitute one program.
